An upcoming project demo that’s coming together beautifully :3 Props go to Brooke and Mandy for doing the bulk of the work and allowing my grubby paws to tweak and add the finishing touches.
Here’s the completed version of the little demo we’ve put together for pitches.
With this all done in flash, it’s time to put it onto the ipad, which takes a bit of dancing with the programming to make sure everything translates from flash to the crazy voodoo that our programmer has produced to make things work as the should on the iOS.
watching it as a .mov, you as the viewer do not get to control the frame rate. But when it’s on the ipad, the speed at which you drag your finger across the screen will determine the frame rate of the animation. So, if you swipe your finger slowly, everything goes in slow motion. If you swipe super fast, everything looks like it’s in fast forward. If you swipe your finger backwards, you can rewind as slow or as fast as you like. It’s pretty fun and completely removes the necessity for panels and pages in a comic.
Stay tuned for our kickstarter video where we’ll be using this little clip to demo the technology with :]
Hope you guys dig!
Rebaggle for the fine office folk in the morning.
